What a clever use of a Dresden block! Perfect clock for a sewing room. Been thinking I need one - now I know I do. Lol!

You should make one. It was quick and easy-I love single block projects. lol. I used a frame that is made for scrapbooking. I actually bought it a long time ago and never used it for anything. lucky that I didn't get rid of it with a lot of my other scrapbooking stuff. The petals on this are made with the easy dresden ruler at 3.25 inches, btw. In case anyone wants to give it a go. From the looks of it, 3.5" would be fine (the ruler is marked at 3 and 3.5. I cut my strips 3.25 wide and then lined up the skinny end to cut the petals).

What a very cute clock. You made a showpiece clock out of fabric instead of wood or metal. Job well done. I really like how you echo quilted around the clock. The quilting accented the Dresden Plate block.
