This is a variation of a quilt I saw in Summer 2010 Quick Quilts magazine. The concept can be adapted to any size your creative
brain chooses. I am starting with 4" strips, about 42 " long, prewashed, starched, pressed.

Sew the strips together however you want them

Stitch the bottom to the top to make a tube

Slice the tube into 4" strps/loops.

Now open one seam of each loop, the lst on the 1st, the 2nd on the 2nd, etc.

Hrere's the finished piece. I need 3 more for a nice bed cover.

Open up your strips to see the pattern & sew together!

Thanks so much for the tute! That will make the charity quilts go so much faster.

Yes! This is for a teenage girl in a group home. Nothing wrong with choosing a quick design. The fabrics are quite beautiful and it looks terrific.
