i hope people enjoy the cyber party and the fabric prizes.

making a jane is a lot of work and can be very trying at times so hopefully some fabrics will cheer things up.

i've been thinking about painting an entire jane - i think i would have to paint each block and triangle though, i just don't have the workspace to paint it as a whole cloth quilt.

i don't know if everyone knows about this site. i believe it was cheriffic who posted it on the christmas swap, anyway

for those who have embroidery machines this site has all the blocks and triangles and she's working on doing them all in redwork now too.

I've got the software on my Christmas list. I hope I get it, otherwise I might get behind before we start! One of the ones for the first week is the one I did for the green and red swap though, which helps.

Any internationals have any clues where to get the DJ rulers from in the UK?

Hi, well I have looked for ages to find these rulers for DJ and canīt find anywhere in England, but if you do find one let me know.

I found this site in America: gives 10% discount and their price is
$13.45 = around 9 GBP plus postage. Thats for the Triangle and square Rulers.

    www.softexpressions.com/software/notions/ezQuilt.php

    Hope that helps.

I usually buy from an eBay seller who is willing to ship internationally. Many are, and you can usually find very reasonable prices if you watch eBay for a little while.

One tip though, be sure to buy from someone who is shipping using the regular post (USPS - US Postal Service) and not a courrier company such as UPS (United Parcel Service). UPS charges *exhorbitant* brokerage fees for international shipping - a firend of mine just had to refuse a shipment from the US to Canada because UPS wanted $60 in brokerage fees (not duty, *just* brokerage) for $60 worth of spindles and spinnning wheel bobbins!

no its not time, some people are just practicing. this group has people that didn't do any of the swaps so they have to get their feet wet.

even a DJ 9 patch is hard just because of the size
Okay, I understand, thank you. :D

if its cheaper you can buy them and ship to me and then i'll send them to you with the christmas DJ swap blocks.

i got mine on ebay for around $12 plus a couple bucks shipping.

here's the link to the seller i bought them from
