I've been able to edit and print the blocks, but have not been able to figure out how to place them on the blank Dear Jane design quilt so I can keep track of what blocks are done and where color placement is. I think I'm going to have to go over the lessons again. Ugh.
If you use the wizard, it gives you the option to start with the classic DJ, and what I've done is switch every colour to white, then as I make a block I'm "colouring it in". That way I can keep a track of how it's looking. :-)
Are you able to put it then where it belongs on the quilt to see the whole big picture?
    They're already there. :-)

When you start the software up, you have a blank quilt top facing you. At the top of the screen, second from the left, is a little magician hat with a wand and some stars. Click on that, then choose the middle option that says "start with a pre-designed Dear Jane. Then click Next, and then Finish.

Voila, you have a DJ quilt in front of you with all the blocks in the right place. :-)

    thats a wonderful idea.

i plan on using the dry sheets for applique placement templates with the jane blocks just for the reasons you mention.

i've made everything but BR2 and none of them need to be mirrored.

looking at BR2 i'd say it doesn't need to be mirrored but i'll know for sure by the weekend.
That triangle looks scary. Have 2nd week printed, I'm going to work on them New Year's Day. Can't think of a better way to start the new year
Also I got way behind on this thread. I'm having trouble keeping up with all the posts. I'm so afraid I'll miss something. Isn't that awful

    Okie
Your not alone. I often wonder how much I have missed. Specially if I am reading and get a notice that more are coming in.

What's confusing to me is I get a notice, I read it thinking it's the last post and then I notice there are several maybe pages that I didn't read. Never got a notice on them. Do you think the reason some get notices some don't or they don't get them the same way each time has to do with our providers more so than the site (board). Just a thought

that might be a reason. i think its gotten worse with the new software though.

i sent everyone a PM that the tutes/pics have started and to look for new ones each wednesday - just to be safe - i would feel terrible if someone got behind because they didn't get a notice.

Please, don't anyone take this wrong.

I believe we need to take some responsibliity and watch for new notices, tutes, pics etc. on the board.
Klue is only one person and even though she is wonder woman, she still can only do so much.
I know I ask alot from her. Imagine answering to 62 peoples' requests.
I'm kind of overwhelmed just writting this.
I will try harder not to bug her so much.

Hey Klue have you got a minute. Just joking.

This is so exciting. I hope everyone has a little fun in the midst of tearing your hair out.
