I haven't read all 100+ pages of this thread yet, but it sounds very interesting. I printed the shopping list, the cyber block party and the difficulty level. Is it too late to get involved with this project? I've never done a Dear Jane before, but know how complicated it can be. Doing it in a group setting like this will be so helpful for when someone (namely me!) gets stuck.

At the top of this thread, I clicked on the "watch" button. A box came up that said I would get an email when new posts are posted in this thread.

I hope I can join this!

Klue, Thank you so very much :!: I could not do this by myself. With all your help and this group I will have a DJ quilt, maybe not a perfect one. But it will have a lot of value to me because of all the friends who are helping me make it! :-D

don't worry about having to read the 100+ pages. i'm starting a new jane chat thread on 1/4/2010 - this way we all start fresh for the new year.

    thats how we all feel.

fyi - even the original jane isn't perfect, i don't think this quilt is meant to be perfect, its more like a badge of honor that you made one and had fun doing it.

Does JoAnn's carry the DJ software? I can stop there on my way home tonight if they do. Sorry if this question has been asked already.

You guys are all so inspiring, I can't wait to get home and get my sewing room cleaned so I can actually sew in there!

when that happens and you relaunch it don't use the backup copy that it says you can use - just start a new session.
