I am really behind on reading the post wow so many pages not sure I will ever get them all read. I do have a book on PP and working on learnimg that so when I can start on DJ maybe it won't take to long to catch up. Learning to PP from book is not so easy but I will get it. This is the best swap because it is only me and not someone else waiting on my blocks!
Let me know if there is anything I can do to help.

Yes EQ is a big help, we need to upgrade the computer. DH lost his job of 23 years when they closed the Goodyear tire plant here and with so many jobs lost about 1000, a new job has been hard to find. We are in the middle of building our house, so all spending is kinda a big deal. DHs nephew is trying to fix the problem for us without spending too much. Thank you for careing.

Count me in, I ordered the software last week from Joann's, so it should be here this week. I just ordered the rulers on eBay a few minutes ago. I don't have my DJ fabric yet, as I can't make up my mind...I have wanted to start a DJ for at least five years!

Well, welcome Sewsational, Wildberrytea, and Wilhemina. You are gonna love this group we are having the bestest time here making this quilt.
I too have wanted to make a Jane for a very long time but I am great for starting and putting it away. The best part about this is we are all motivated to complete the blocks in a week and I am sooo looking forward to posting each week it is awesome to share with everyone get help if you need it and best of all finish.

my DH does not understand the concept of quilting a quilt. he thinks i should just sew around the edges of all the blocks and call it good
