Sarah...I'm going for sashing in a dark brown...almost black...that is IF I can find just the right color. I haven't bought it yet. Well, I'll just say thats the "plan" for right now, althoug its subject to change!
Kona cotton have a really dark brown - I get ours (our quilt group) from Hancocks of Paducah. It's much cheaper, even with shipping, than our LQS, where we think the owner is greedy because she is the only one for miles around.

I plan to machine quilt my Baby Jane with a simple edge to edge pattern on my Tin Lizzie. I want all the blocks to come forward, any busy stitch pattern would detract from the blocks and all the work that goes in to those tiny pieces!

It goes without saying, hand quilting on this quilt would be fabulous, but that is out of the question for me! So far, all my blocks are machine stitched, I might sew a couple by hand, but maybe not! :)

I've machine pieced all mine, but the applique is all hand done. I still don't know how to tackle mine. More thought needed methinks.

Happy Easter to all you Jane-ers. I wonder how many of you will get to make a block or two today? In the meantime, here is a pretty arrangement to brighten your day.
