    It is a wonderful challenge with so many rewards when a block is completed! I am hoping that I will get some completed tomorrow. I am way behind on posting!

    Welcombe Ozceb, how about showing us your blocks, there will e loads of encouragement as we all know what its like, it can be daunting at times, and if you get stuck just holler if we have made the blocks there is a chance we can help you.

    Hiya' Ozceb! Welcome to the party!!! Start anywhere you would like, but you could start where we are right now and sew with us, then work backwards to catch up. The blocks are pretty easy right now...so it would be a good place to start too. Most important...have fun and holler when you need to...we're usually hanging around and would love to stick our big noses in to give you a hand! :LOL:

    Just so you know there is a Schedule printed on page 180 of this thread which tells you what we are doing each week. Think if you start with the easy ones as Patti says around week 30 you will get the idea.

    Also to follow us we have posted under Jane Stickle Cyber Blocks Week 1 and separate entries up to week 32 at the moment so put a search in, all I do is put "Jane Stickle week 30" and up it pops. You get the idea? Search is at the top of the page.

    OR you can scroll down to the bottom of this page..look on the left and click where it says "The Famous Jane Stickle Quilt, circa 1863." That will take you to the virtual section where you can subscribe to it and it will list ALL the related threads..all the weekly threads and more Jane inspiration threads as well...

    Thank you all for the warm welcome. Afraid my forays into the DJ world will be a bit sporadic. Have to learn how to use the software and will try and see if I can handle taking some snaps to upload, afraid I'm not too good with the techno stuff. Cheers to all. CB

    Don't worry...we're patient, and if we can help you please holler. We have the DJ software too..so maybe together we can figure out how to get the most out of it..LOL

    i'm reading all the posts here and in the F J S Q, c. 1863 and i'm reading and working the lessons in the the book and cd. shooo-eee! i'm cross-eyed with all this, having also made a few virtual quilts for practice. i've found the schedule, but may start working along here ..... just as soon as i get lots of background fabric.
