    thank you everyone.

i only spend about 15 minutes at a time on the GFG so am going to try to sandwich the time in.

it is king size so i don't expect to finish too quickly as i am not even half done. i plan to devote most of my "spare" time to jane tho.

Ok..today I decided that I needed to wash some of the sashing fabric, cut some strips and decide on a cornerstone color..or not. I've laid some of her out just to get an idea. What do ya'll think? Beige, Red, or none at all?

These blocks are NOT in the right places..just grabbed out of the baggie.

I prefer with rather than without cornerstones, and I think the red ones give a warmer and more subtle effect, the beige is a cooler effect, so it depends on what you are wanting. I like your chocolate Jane whatever!

Oh, WOW!!! I don't have a preference for the cornerstnes, I like both. I guess I'm either really to please (I don't think so) or both look really lovely. Your blocks are so gorgeous!!!!I never thought to mix different fabrics in the same block, except for the one Jane did, but I really like the look! I like scrappy things anyway.

    Beautiful, beautiful, beautiful!

Patti, for me its the beige, I love that look. For me the red takes away something of the blocks. IMHO anyway.

    You are motoring girl :-D

And I like the red cornerstones! They don't pop as much and detract from the blocks. I do like the cornerstones, whatever color you go for. Looks good!

Hehe another one for the beige, for some reasons the red seem to blend in too much (which is what shemjo likes about them!), I just figure if you're gonna go to the trouble, make them pop. But I don't think they detract. My second choice would be none at all. :) :) I guess it comes down to what you like in the end!! LOL. Maybe make that pic your computer wallpaper for a while and see how you feel after looking at it for a week. :)
