Oooh, another unique variation - lovely. I like the flowers better, but I think it's because they are a little more delicate.

If your hoop will take it, you might be able to machine embroider through the top fabric and the batting, which automatically will quilt the two layers together - just a thought, then you could still hand quilt an outlining stitch round the flowers if you wanted to.

Oh thats a good idea Lesley! I hadn't even thought of that...or she could even just embroider the flowers, then add her hand quilting to them after by adding the batting then and doing them like we've all done the pieced tris. So....Jan, we are making some decisions for you..LOL!

Oh Jan, your quilt is going to be wonderful and uniquely yours. I also like the flowers better because the shape of the design seems to fit better with the triangle.

    Lesley suggestion sounds great.

I'm getting excited to see your quilt.

Lesley, I love your idea and will try to do it the next day off I have. Thanks you guys so much for the great ideas and helping me make up my mind. I really wanted to have it all hand done but the more I look at the flowers the more they grab my attention. You made it feasable with your suggestions!! I think it will work with the stabilizer on the bottom. Cross your fingers!!!!!!!!

Hi Rachel! I'm hand sewing the second set of tris now. There still a lot to do but I'm getting closer! Thanks for your input!
