Heeheee, thanks on the dog Jan..Kathy (Quilts with Convicts) named him Phydeaux..fits, don't you think?? LOL!

I wouldn't sell mine either and I have NO kids to hand it down to, however, I am thinking about either donating it to my University or the local museum. I haven't put a sleeve on mine Jan, but I am considering it. I do have some of the background fabric left and Probably should make it before I use the fabric for something else. I was thinking of making some pillow shams to go with her...maybe make a few more blocks? I know exactly what you mean about missing working on her...I still kinda do!

Of course sew!!! I actually plan on making more of the blocks and making other projects...don't know if I'll actually make another of the Baby Janes, although I have seen some great color schemes that I just fell in love with!

Ok Sew, crazy I'm not!! Maybe a small version someday like Patti said. I finished one WIP and am starting another. I cheated and started with the small ones first.

Arghh! I have been in Devon (about 150 miles) this last week clearing my MIL's house as she has gone into care. It is driving me mad not being able to sew. Now we have to sort and sell all her 'treasure' so I will still be waiting to get to my sewing space. Please tell me how I cope with this frustration? LOL!

know what you mean. i've been having grandkids this summer, doing lawn work, and gardening. just today did i go to the basement and sew all afternoon. the tri's, kits, and solid spacing tri's really do fit nicely together. just had to try one corner before i cut out all my solid spacers. and to see if an 8 x 8 in kite really fit without altering. IT DOES.

Ahhh Sara..I know the frustration. You'll be back to it soon I hope. So sorry that your MIL had to move. That is such a sad time.

Sandpat......LOL, .....yes, just checking. i can't believe that it really works. you know? i was just afraid that my seams weren't accurate, or i had made the kits wrong, or something. cause sometimes the way 'we sew', doesn't equal the way the pattern works, or whatever. you know?
