I saw the DJ quilt on display there in 2003 and I bought the book from their gift shop. I never had the nerve or the incentive to do the quilt on my own. I am so glad that I found this site.

Losie, I know for a fact that I wouldn't have ever done the DJ without this site and all the support these ladies give. You will never be sorry to start and complete your own DJ!!!!!!!!!!

I wouldn't have considered making it in a hundred years, without this thread. I had never done a quilt with so many small blocks, never paper pieced, never used triangles as a border, never put scallops on the edge, in short - there were so many firsts for me I thought I needed my head examining just for contemplating making it - but I DID it - you too can do the same.

yes, ladies, this quilt was sooo beyond my talents. never done a curved seam, appliqueed very little. never used freezer paper, or elmers glue. never reversed appliqued. so many times i had to say, "what does that mean?" but it was just what i needed last spring early.

only because of this board, and all your wonderful help, did i even attempt it. And Brenda's software. don't forget that.

I think we were all in the same boat...without the group, there are quite a few beautiful Baby Janes that wouldn't exist!

Well done Karen. I have finally found some cheap backing fabric so now I need to assemble the pieces into a quilt!
