I feel dumb but I don't know what is "PM"!

    That's OK!

A "PM" is a "Private Message" Kind of like email just on this board. If you click on someone's screen name where it's highlighted in blue next to their post, it will take you to a page with their information, and on that page is a link to send a Private Message. Then you just type in the box like a regular post or email message.

Don't worry, you'll get it all figured out soon! I'm really impressed that you are online at all - in my guild, most of the older ladies refuse to go anywhere near a computer!

When visiting my DH in nursing home I like to work on my DJ; however, scisser are a question there too. What I found that works for me is a lady bug cutter that is meant to attach to sewing machine for cutting thread.

    Hi Klue!
I'm not getting them either. I've been thinking that it seemed funny nothing was being said about the upcoming Dear Jane, so I typed your name in search and came across this 50+ pages on Dear Jane. I'm sitting here panicked! I have to read all these pages tonight. I'm upset and don't know why I have not received along the way????????

this seems to be a slightly common glitch that some people are having.

fear not, i will PM when the official Dear Jane Cyber Block Party kicks off.

right now people are just getting their feet wet - learning software, block construction, what fabrics to use - that kind of thing.

As far as scissors on planes-I use rounded or blunt-nosed from Fiskars. As long as the scissors are not pointed, they are suppossed to allow them on the planes. Have never had to leave them behind. Also, cheaper ones are considered school scissors for elementary kids.

I've been out of the loop too Semjo. 50+ pages worth! I'm catching up right now. I'm only on page 12!
Where is the watch this to click on? I was signed on to quiltingboard and signed up for DJ I don't understand at all that the one topic I'm most involved with I'm not involved with!!!!!
