Default April 2012 BOM Tulip Block

Finished and took pix............just under the wire! Can't seem to get this pix resized; will work on this after dinner and send it later. Sorry for this........I just did the March BOM before I tried this and it resized. Don't you just hate this when it happens? Jinnie

Another Gorgeous Tulip block for the April 2012 BOM choice, this month!! I love the tulip fabric you have used in your tulip & on each of the four corner's. Your fabric's & color's are so bright & pretty. What a nice job you have also done on your wavey stem. Makes me want to re-do mine!! Thank you so much for sharing.

Default April 2012 BOM Tulip Block

I finally was able to get the pix resized and uploaded. While I love looking at applique, I really can't stand to do the process. I can't do any hand work due to carpal tunnel and arthritis and fingers are mishappen; hence, the sewing machine satin stitch.

Sewz, your block looks just fine. I used to feel that way about applique too, but HAD to do it years back, and once I conquered it, really enjoy it now. I'm glad you at least tackled it, and won.. You should be proud.

Sewze...........Your Tulip block couldn't have turned out any nicer. It is just beautiful & I love everything about it. I also think you machine applique' work if just fine. Sometimes we tend to be to hard on our own work, but you have nothing to worry about, God Bless the machine applique' feature!! Thank you for sharing with all of us & I hope you have found the May 1st BOM pattern & are anxious to get started on it too.
