Ooohh love that green and gold one; and the geometric looks great--so much fun to look at all of these and we are only half way thru the month!

Here is mine done .. I posted in the wrong spot.... this is my first bright coloured quilt... I'm normally a very quiet colour type of quilt but the flower pattern material was screaming at me the the LQS and the other colours just kind of whispered to me... soooo after much thought I decided to jump right in and break my mold of reserved colours.. The green background will be my commone colour throughout this quilt... sooo we will see how it takes shape.. I'm a bit nervous.. and excited all in the same time!

I just love your block. If that is your first attempt, you will have no trouble with paper piecing!! You did a great job. Love those fabrics.

    aberi,

I'm glad you listened to those colours. That block is gorgeous! It's fun to step out of our usual zone and try something new. I bet you're glad you did.

It is so much fun to see that block made up with all the different choices of fabric.

I really like the blocks where some of you took artistic licence with the pattern.

It's fun to check out this thread each day to see what everyone is creating.
