Thanks so much for all your comments. Jan, welcome to the board. If you are like me, you will not know when to turn it off. I love it here and hope you will too.
I had this idea of trying to make each of these blocks to represent a specific flower. Now i thought I'd like to have them all coordinate somehow, so I may just end up doing 2 sets of blocks. This is my first BOM ever !!!!!

Wondered also how to coordinate and also to represent the flowers for that month. Decided to just let the pattern 'talk to me' and then start pulling out my fabrics and coordinating. It will be one 'organized' scrappy quilt at the end of the year but it will be all mine and no two alike.

SulaBug, this is where I got my inspiration for the Sunflower Block Quilt that I posted and you made such a nice comment about. I hope to have the fabrics for the borders soon and I'll post updated photos. Thanx for your inspiration.

Coastienest, I love your block. It looks so cheerful!

I've decided to try and do two of each BOM block as I'd like to eventually made it as a double quilt.

Here's my second sunflower block. This one actually gave me more trouble than the first - had some problems with bias edges and ended up ripping a few seams more than once. It's all together now though! :)
