I posted the block in the picture thread. Thought I would show some of the fabric I am going to use in the blocks. Using up older stuff.

I colored the windows with crayon and pigma markers.

I would really like to join in. Can anyone tell me how this works? Do we do a different block each month and are they designed to be sewn together into one larger quilt?

Thank you so much. I love that website. It is now in my
favorites. I'm going to do the BOM this year. I love houses so I'm looking forward to seeing the end result.
Thank you for allowing us to participate.

They are pretty, but not to my usual style of fabric. I got them for a project for a friend, but didn't get it done in time. Make me happy to be able to use them in this project. She was a hoarder and could find a use for anything.

LOL...don't worry, back to work on Tuesday and I will bet this is the first and only block that will get done fast! Now that I am seeing some of the embellishment the other BOM quilters are doing...hmmmm is it done or not?

I'm back from the picture thread . . . WOW! So many are done already! I love all I've seen and have chosen fabrics, but am procrastinating due to the PP. LOL. Will try it tonight. I'm thinking I'll embellish after I get all the blocks done and assembled, but what I've seen already is very amazing and inspiring!
