Funny how we are draw to different styles. I was scrolling down and stoped on your church and felt such peace. I immediatly thought of a local church out in the country near me. I expect to see an old farmer sitting inside giving his daily thanks. Love it. Oh, and I would definitly steal your skills at matching seams!

tulip - your BOM is beautiful - what an eye for color you have. Love the landscape material.

phesantduster, thanks for your compliment. I have such inspiration, it resembles the church down the road from me. Just a little old country church, with a great pastor who has become a great friend over the years. He has an inkling of when I need him and Gods' word even before I do.
I am going to PP another block and frame it for him. He is such a dear friend.

I was working on mine after work last night but when I messed up twice on the same piece at 10pm I knew it was time to stop. Almost done.

I love the way the batik in the window gives the feeling of light glowing from inside the church. Beautiful!

I know what you mean! First time I ever used the Batik fabric and was amazed at its beauty. Bought some others to do the Star Bom that is starting on the 15th.

Kristen, your block made me smile! The fabric choices make this a very fun church. I imagine a long-haired young gentleman inside, playing peace songs on his acoustic guitar.
