First attempt at Paper piecing. Learned a lot with this. Have it sitting on top the material I hope to use for sashing and borders with my first BOM quilt. Bet you can't tell I'm from the hills of Tennessee with my landscape ;)

Your church block is absolutely stunning! I love the landscape! Is that pieced or does the fabric have that rolling-hill pattern in it?

The rolling hills are on the fabric... they have it like this in green and also in more of a brown for fall.

I'm not participating in this BOM, but I've just got to speak up and tell each and every one of you how great your blocks are! If I hadn't become involved with a new BOM this month (along with the other WIPs) just seeing these would make me join this one! I'll keep watching, if you all don't mind. Keep up the great work!

Good Luck with your day block!! We will defiantly be waiting to see the two you will have finished. I have to admit that when I tried pp'ing for last year's BOM, I threw away my first two tries, then went back & got them out of the circular basket & redid them, with much better luck!! So, hang in their ladies, you can do it!!
