My door is all scuptured as you can see and windows are stainglass. Had fun doing it.
This is what I am talking about!! I love your tree. You have just made your block your own. Great idea!!

    Ditto!!! Love those church windows.
Thanks! The symbols mean something to me: The "g" stands for God where the doorknob would be on the church door as He opens and closes all doors, the "thread" stands for God mending us together, the "mirror" stands for His word allowing us to see ourselves and strive to have His image.

It's great you could make this your own church with the tree! My block isn't the required 12.5 in yet as I'm trying to figure out how or if I want to add anything else other than just fabric. I just might make my own version of a tree, either piecing or applique. Thanks for inspiration!

    bjchad,
love the medallion you put up on the wall.
I was thinking about the empty space but only a cross came up to my mind and didn't like the idea.

I guess that as more post pictures we will be thinking... why I didn't think of that!!!

Maybe we need to wait for all the ideas and make another one!!!

The colors and textures all blend so well together, along with your pretty trees! Are those trees stitched?

Well, I finished my block. I really like it. Wish I could post it. Maybe before this year is out. Everyone's looks great. I am not going to adjust my block sizes for a while until I see what the majority of the block sizes are. If they are all really different, I may scatter them with filler blocks. We'll see. Can't wait till the next one.
