I tried 5 times and it won't let me post my picture. sorry.
I participated in the "House" BOM last year and at that time, I was a fairly new quilter and the Church was my first experience at paper piecing. I worked on it for hours and hours and had fabric, paper, etc, everywhere. I then learned to use the freezer paper technique and there is hardly any waste...this is my favorite method...do a google search and try it.

Thanks for all your comments. I like how it turned out too... ONE of these days I have got to master paper piecing (now don't everybody go picking PP blocks to do, lolo) I don't kno why it buffaloes me but it does!

    cherylmae,
Your "PINK" Blossom's block is fantastic!! I love it & I can see it in with your quilt blocks, made with stars, for last year. What a great idea. Your seams all look really good to me. I think we tend to critique our own work to much. It is beautiful & I am so glad that you have shared with all of us.

Great blocks everyone! Also love the quilt for your granddaughter, it worked up nicely in those fabrics. I'm using my Batiks...so we'll see how mine turns out. Will finish it tomorrow, just have to sew the block together.
    Hugs,

    Hi Sandypants,
Your name is so cute, I love it!! To answer your question, "If I pick all of the blocks", the answer is NO. I always start with the January block to get everyone else started, then I ask for volunteers to sign up for a their month's choice. We still have a few open months if anyone else is interested in signing up.

These month's are still open: March, May, June, and November.
If interested, send me a PM to sign up. We love to give everyone who wants too, a chance to choose a block.
    Happy Sewing to all.

JeanieG........I think I missed seeing your gorgeous Snow Blossom's block, the other day. The black background makes your Snow Blossom really stand out. It is very striking & I love it. It looks to me like you did a great job sewing it together. Congratulation's on a job well done!!
