Me too, but I would hate to do a QS paper pieced quilt, just wouldn't have the patience for that!

BTW she recommends leaving paper on until the blocks are finished and connected to something else.

Check out the quilt along on this board called "50 fabulous paper pieced stars" for more paper piecing bliss!
I watch that video and took note of her comment on leaving the paper on until the blocks are finished. I haven't removed the paper yet. I have taken a look at the "50 fab PP stars" project. That looks to be another project that will be fun to do. Since I don't own the book, I will be watching this project for a bit.

Thanks for the information on Carol Doak's paper!

I just used the copy paper for this block, but I could see where a thinner paper would be better for removal.
What type of paper does everyone else use?
I'm looking forward to another PP project.
I use a different technique for paperpiecing and I'm loving how easy it is to do. I use the technique at twiddletails.com. I didn't like sewing thru the paper and then trying to remove the paper but with this technique your block is done. Now to work on my block and I'll post when I get mine done.

Thanks! I will give this a try for the next PP I do.

You will need your sunglasses for mine, it's very bright, even brighter than showing in the pic. We are in the middle of summer here and I really couldn't think what to do, so here it is orange for the sun, blue for the sky, and green for the grass.

You're right!! Sunglasses on and ready to view. Great color contrast. Wish it were summer here - 24 degrees and very windy making the wind chill much lower.
