Okay I must confess when this BOM began I didn't really "READ" thoroughly that it was "A Calendar BOM for 2012" which was plainly stated! lol As my hubby likes to point out...I glance get the gist of something and run with it. So I chose Batiks...I've a weakness for them! lol And I hated not doing the Feb block due to the block not working well for Batiks. I even went in to see if maybe I could and thought NOT! lol So I will be doing two BOM's for this swap...now to hunt for Jan and Feb fabrics so I can catch up! lol

Those Polar Bears just pushed me right over the edge! lol

I also confess yesterday I printed out the Feb block and just couldn't make myself make a kitty block! Why you say? Well the creator of the block Kim Noblin I know Kim and was her Moderator on Block Central Quilting Forum for many years...but I also took over her Yahoo Group named... wait for it.... Pretty Kitty Swaps. I ran that for a long time where each month we swapped 6.5" blocks of ... you got it... kitties! I have from 2004 up to maybe 2010 of kitty blocks I have never done anything with! lol Think it might be time to drag all those 6.5" blocks out and work on them! lol

Sorry to be long winded! lol Now to get to the machine and catch up before March roars in!

    Hugs,
    Cajun

    CajunBear,
So glad that you are joining in on all of the fun, with the 2012 BOM. If you are still having trouble with your February Heart Cat block, you can pick four of your already made kitty blocks & put them together for this month. This block is for you & you can make it any way you want too!! We will be looking forward to seeing your finished blocks!! Have fun sewing.
