Hi Patrice, just wondering does this make your block size 17 1/2 inches? Like like both blocks great fabric choices

no. it's 12-1/2"

i didn't explain myself properly.
i should have explained that i made the last round solid instead of piecing it according to the pattern.
i didn't want a square in the corner to create a square where this block met the other one in the top i used it for.

Thanks Patrice, I have my graph-it paper out trying to figure the piece size to make like Sulbug with out the outside edge. Just in cast I use sashing on the quilt top. Thank your for your quick reply.

Here's mine and all I did was make the center and then add a 2 1/2" border all the way around, then trimmed it to 12 1/2" block.
