Why,thank you everyone. I really liked this block. It looks alot harder than it really is. I precut my fabric pieces and then the assembly goes alot quicker.

Theresee, there is a great tutorial on this site for pp. You can do this... If you look over the Feb BOM it was paperpeiced and a lot of people were intimidated by it but in the end for the most part, truly enjoyed it!! I know if you are like me you procrastinate when you are unsure.. Just jump right in ..check out the tutorial on this site about Paper piecing and then go ahead... we will anxiously await your finished block!

there are always two threads for each month's block. one thread is to announce the block and discuss our plans; success; ask each other questions, etc.

the other thread is where we post the photos of our finished blocks and pat each other on the back.

Okay I printed off the templates but they are all only at 55%. Does anyone know the actual size of the pieces? Thanks for your help.

I just started printing off the templates tonight and have noticed that none of the templates seem to print at the correct size when set to 100% - they were all printing very large (the test box was around 1 3/8" for me).

The resolution of the images seems to be wrong, though this could have been caused by my image program. (72 dpi for each one instead of 97 dpi for A & B and 96 dpi for C).Just in case it's not just mycomputer, I've played around a bit and setting templates A and B to print at 74.2% results in the test box being the correct size. For template C, setting it to 75% works.

How did you change the size for your printed page. When I'm in Word, I can do that but could not do that last night. Someone suggested that I take it to Office Depot and have them enlarge it by 45%. What do you think?
