Hi all,

This is Anael and I have the honor of picking the May pattern for the 2012 Calender BOM! Though it has been quite cold flowers are blooming here too. I picked the block Oh Susannah because my mom had her birthday in May, she loved flowers and she loved to sing.

As you can see in the picture I altered the center of the block a bit. The color 1 triangles (which in my block are black instead of blue) are a bit smaller to make the block look more like a flower.
I hope you all like the block. It's an easy one (I think) and I hope you will have fun making it.

Thanks, Anael, it is perfect! I was saving my lilacs fq for the May block, they are my favorite flowers and I just knew whatever the block pattern was, I had to use that fabric - it will be perfect! I especially love that you made the center smaller - what size did you do, do you recall? I'm thinking I would like to do the same with mine, so that the lilacs really stand out. It will be a lot of fun making this one!

made the block i know im not in group but ty for idea now if i could get middle right next one[ATTACH=CONFIG]332188[/ATTACH] shouldve checked again after making it well not sewed completly so i can rip some.
