    whitepine,
It is no fun. Imagine having to be home a week and a half and not able to sew. I didn't get it on my face, so I think it wasn't that bad. 5th week and still discomfort, pain if I forget the medicine. Bah Humbug!

Oh Jeanine........I am so sorry to hear that you have been ill. I know that shingles are no fun at all!! I occasionaly get them on the left side of my face, ouch. You take care & get better, before sewing to much just yet. These pattern's will always be here for you to make.

I was thinking about getting the shingles shot, but a lady in our TOPS club got the shot then ended up getting the shingles, so unsure about the shot. Anyway, Hope you're feeling better Jeanine. Nothing worse than just sitting & looking at your projects and not being able to sew.

The doctor told us when we got our shots that it was not 100% certain that we would not get shingles. But so far (3+ years) and we have been safe.
