Reread directions. Did not see instruction to cut into 4 1/2" segments.
    Sunlitsmiles, do you know more?

Sunlite is guessing, nothing was said in the instructions. Maybe she was just evening up her ends?

Lynnie, take a look at what Sunlite posted -- ignore the block she cut, but look at her strip. And Dotty has it right, her 4 different color sets for her table runner. That is what you will end up with -- a Color C and a background fabric sewn together. You will do something with the 2-color strip next week.

This is the first project on my new super duper (for me) Pfaff! Won at a quilt show by a friend & sold to me for her out-of-pocket expenses. I paid $150!! I am supporting a genius in grad school, so I really appreciate the bargain.
The Pfaff is divine! My friend has a Bernina and a Babylock & does not need 2 machines. Yay!

I messed up....do not know what I was thinking.... found strips (2 1/2) when I unfolded the fabric from my stash. this is actually from the project it was leftover from ( does that make sense?) the teams won both the softball and the baseball games and now it is Lacrosse .... I think I better wait to sew till I concentrate better. Sorry!

SUNLITEN -- how did you know we wouldn't cut these in 2-1/2" pieces for four patches? Huh? Huh? How did you know?

Oops! was posting at the same time. Ignore my jabs (or not as you deem fit).

Yes, 4 different C's for 4 different blocks. I'm doing the 4 block table runner.
