    Default Caught up!

I cut out and made strip sets for 9 blocks yesterday. It won't be very scrappy, but I hope it will be a pretty topper. Cut out the 72 background squares too, didn't mark them because I have an Angler, which eliminates the need for marking diagonal lines.
Also finished up the blocks for trip 9, now the decision on how to lay them out.
    Happy Easter everyone!

Quiet day here too, no kids coming home this year. I was gone all day yesterday so no sewing. Maybe today, read the directions again and "really" decide colors for a new runner in the livingroom. Happy Easter everyone

Happy Easter to everyone also! I picked out four reds I had, four aqua colored fabrics I had and so far three pinks and one large piece of Monkey fabric which as all of the other colors in it for my baby quilt. I think I will need more pinks but this is a start. the 72 pieces is a whole lot of pieces to have! it will be one heck of a week for sure. I can see being behind already. groan. lol I am going to try. today my son from CA flies in at noon. tomorrow my son from Oregon flies in and I think my daughter is coming with him. Surgery tomorrow and lots of fingers crossed. But hoping to be back and sewing in no time at all. cant put me down that easily!

Hi, all! Decided to join in again. It's been awhile since I did one to these. Not sure what I will be using, but leaning towards using a black background.

I have the 4 1/2" squares cut, read the directions and read them again, just not sinking in today. My mind is on other stuff...not tomorrow either I'm sure, Tuesday another day

I haven't started this one yet. Told myself I HAVE to finish a quilt before I can start a new one. Working on the back to get it ready for quilting. Wish me luck on getting the back and front lined up since it is a 2-sided quilt.
Good luck with your surgery, Linda. Enjoy your time with your kids.

What is an angler? I drew diagonal lines on 64 squares while watching "Jersey Boys"on HBO!
