For me, it was 25 minutes or 2 hours -- but I went down Kanan Road not the 405. Two lane mountain road through the canyons.

Kanan Dume Road is one of the most dangerous roads anywhere.....some people call it 'Doom' Road .... the least bit of rain and they close it with barricades and officers, you have to live there to drive thru. I have driven it but only in daylight.

We lived at the far western portion of the San Fernando valley and Kanan was the closest road to the beach, but I hated it. And I never ever would have driven it in the dark -- NO streetlights at all until you got almost to the beach.

DD I love your runner and I agree with Judy I would use green. I have mine made and it is pure scrappy and I am thinking a controlled block will make a very pretty quilt. Thanks Judy for this mystery.

Thanks, I like the multi colored runners too. I was thinking of using the green but its scraps from someone else and its already cut in 22x6" pieces. It would have a lot of seams. That's why I was thinking of using the red.
