(My quilt will be 96 X 96) Thought I would start out by making 150.
I'd start with 150 but I'm sure you will need a few more than that.

happylab love both of your choices, but am drooling over the blue Oriental. Is that a Robert Kaufmann?

Angelia pretty sure you will need a few more depending on your borders.

BettyB and bcsews love your combos

Thanks, Judy. I made 96, but I chose fabrics I have several yards of, so more won't be a problem.

Everyone's choices are lovely.

Judy: Thanks for the ball park. Want to make enough so I can see what its going to look like at the reveal. Certainly don't mind making more at a later time.

Default Which one?

Here are my choices, but I have the dilemma of which to choose for the 12" part.Which is better with the yellow...the turquoise or the purpley-red (magenta?). The yellow is brighter than it shows.
This will be for my DS and DDIL after they go to Hawaii in January...only to return to Seattle gray. So this should be cheerful and a reminder of a fun trip.

Coopah: Glad to see you on this train. I prefer the blue, the red seems a little dark with the black background. You could really use many colors with that fabulous flipflop fabric.

Coopah, I like both but like the blue best. Sun & Sky.

Mary, Love that fabric. It's going to be beautiful. I can also see a thin red border stripe...........
