11th Mystery Quilt Train Ride Ready To Start Today

Like all the combos I'm seeing. While waiting for my daughter (here from VA) & granddaughter (lives about 35 minutes away), I quickly went into sewing room & got them done! Only took pic of 1 each... See everyone on 2/22! Maybe I won't really have to play catch up too much!

Well, hubby got me a new camera for birthday last week...now the pics are too large to post. How do I make them smaller? I have Vista & camera is Cannon. I can't find anywhere to make pics smaller. Can anyone help?

VickiM this is how I do it. Open your photo, R click and then choose from the drop down menu OPEN WITH paint. Once it's open, find resize and type in 50% where it shows 100%. Then click on (upper left) save, rename it. Then you will have two, one huge and one just right. I usually delete the big one and then copy/paste the small one to my photos. Now if someone has better way?

VickiM, I have a cannon and I really love it. (Don't bother getting the larger sd card sizes for it. When you get past 2000 pics it won't let you download thru the cable, you have to buy an sd reader to download them which is ok but it won't auto divide them by date. You would have to do it manually.) I go to 'my computer' where I save my pictures from the downloading. EX: Library, Pictures, date and open the date that has the picture in it. Then I click on 'email' on the top bar. It gives you the choice of large, small, extra small to email them. I choose extra small for emailing. I email it to myself and 'save as' to the same date folder as the larger pic with the same name with an 'e' added to it so I know that is the smaller size. You can click on several to email at the same time if you know you want them smaller.
chefbwarner, I tried what you said, it opened fine with paint, but I couldn't find resize except for viewing it, not actually changing the size. Obviously, I'm missing something.

I started with a 10" square so I had just a little to trim up. I'm quite happy with the outcome!
