11th Mystery Quilt Train Ride Ready To Start Today
#42
Mary, I think the chocolate brown and blue dots look great with those chickens. Really brings out the colors on them. Looking fwd. to this mystery. I have lurked the past 3 but this one, I'm jumping in feet first. Hmmm, maybe I should make that fabric first.

ah,a table runner will be perfect! Right now we have my son & DIL and baby staying with us for a month while their new house closes. Add to that hubby's sister & husband are coming in for a few days. hmm, I am looking in the club car for those adult beverages I think I'll make an Easter table runner since I already have the fall/Halloween/Christmas taken care of. I may not get started until the train ride ends but look for me hiding in the club car!

This looks like it will be great fun. I love reversible! Will likely do fall on one side, Christmas on the other. Unless of course something else catches my eye when I go shopping. Lol!
I'm 1500 miles away from my stash, so I'm forced to go shopping. Isn't that a Terrible thing to have to do???

I like the chocolate looking one too with the blue. I might make a Halloween one for the other side. Seems like when I am looking for 4 or 5 fabrics that go with a main fabric all I come up with is maybe 2. This time I have about 6 that go with it. At least I don't have to go shopping like poor mom6. lol

I would love to participate in this swap. I probably won't get it done by the deadline, but I'm hoping to get it started! I love table runners, so I can't resist this. I'll be lurking in the shadows. (Left some green tea in the club car along with homemade chocolate chip cookies straight from the oven!)

I am in need of some table runners for gifts. Judy....I trust you in your selections of patterns, have loved them all so far, so I have been raiding my stash and seeing what color combinations I can come up with. Will these work do you think? I will take any help. Looking forward to this as I think I might have a chance of getting this done. There is a dark green with the upper left, but it doesn't show up much.

Gosh AngelAnne, I like all of them.
These are my fabrics for a Halloween runner. The black will be my focus fabric because I'm short on the purple and don't want the stripe to be focus. But............If the focus fabric didn't have to be WOF, and could be different patterns, I could use the purples as focus. ??? Guess I'll have to wait for the next clue.

Off to the sewing room to look for fabric. I've been wanting to jump on the Mystery Train, and this is a great time for me to do it. Guess I'll have to bring some snacks since I am new on the train. I'll leave some homemade Pralines, made with pecans from Louisiana.
