QltrSue... close call with your iron. I'm sure that was frustrating, not only to lose your iron while working away on a project but now having to shop for a new iron and a new ironing board cover. I hope your household has a back up.

Had that in mind also but I thought that was going to be a surprise clue from Judy.

Okay, so you're saying that in addition to the blocks we need 16 2-1/2" squares of each of the colors (A, B, C, D)? Yikes, I better get busy!

SunlitenSmiles -- I think I need some of that wine & cheese ... I'll bring some crackers over later ... after I cut those squares!

Brunch is served in the club car! Breakfast burritos you can build yourself with any of the following: scrambled eggs, bacon, shredded hash browns, cheddar cheese, sour cream, and salsa. Help yourself. Hubby did the cooking in exchange for the joy of NOT having to get on this estrogen driven choo choo.

Well, here's something funny -- or sad, depending on your viewpoint. Just a short time ago I finally got around to searching for my fabrics so I can cut out those 2-1/2" squares. Guess what? I already cut them out! Duh! Funny how I didn't remember doing that though! Oh, boy ...

I think I need some brownies. I make them from scratch, so give me some time & by the time everyone finishes their brunch, the brownies will be warm from the oven & on their way to the club car. See you there!

Don't know how I got so far behind in seeing everyone's posts. Mary your combination is going to be amazing. I still am thinking about using the monochromatic on the stars. Once the unveiling takes place I may try that on another one. Siodach, absolutely love your cathedral windows treatment. Always been a little intimidated by that block, would be a great way to do a few. QltrSue, that is plan scary stuff. Electrical malfunctions are pretty darn dangerous. CTYankkee, all you need is an attitude adjustment. I just look at these little surprises as presents along the road or in your case could be the quilting fairies.

Jmoore: Thanks for your kind words. I did have a backup iron, but in a fit of "decluttering" not too long ago, I got rid of it. Now I'm sorry. Guess there is a reason behind keeping a few things, just in case. I made it to Target and bought a basic iron on sale to use until I feel the need for a special kind and have time to do the research. This one will do for now.

Ctyankee: I had to chuckle sympathetically--been there, done that--only too often !!

Zozee: brunch sounds yummy! Nice husband to cook. I'll bring the Fuzzy Navels....(peach schnapps and OJ). It's like spring around here today, but tomorrow it may snow and sleet!
