Jeanne, Joe'sMom, and Jaba. Three beautiful blocks, all so very different. This is going to be very interesting and a lot of fun to watch.

Good luck everyone, it is a fun one to sew together!

I will be loosing the tips of my stars, too, and I used scant quarter inch seams. I'm going to remake my center stars and cut the white squares larger (cutting E 2 1/4)and see if that works.) Very pretty blocks.

I think I may set these as a square and use a b c and d strips for narrow border. I'd love to use the print as a wider border but it might be too much. I can always use it for backing and binding. Haven't joined any blocks or borders together yet, just playing with ideas right now. Thanks Judy!! This was a really fun block, and you're so right about pushing us out of our boxes. I probably would not have chosen this block out of a book, but I just loved making it and if course the surprise element makes it just that much more fun.

Loving all of them. I was also thinking square and I also hope to add borders of some kind. I've got my books out now but I've got to finish a wedding quilt this week and help with a shower, then...

Thanks so much, Judy! Thoroughly love this one!

Lol, that bottom right is not askew, just not lying flat against the wall.

Thank you ladies for the comments. It's such a nice pattern to work on, picking out colors is the hard part I think. BB love the browns and creams in yours. I might have to make a baby quilt for our new grand daughter that is on the way

DHANKE_ I love your blocks set square. Have you considered using a first border of the pure white like in the center stars?
BLUEBONNETS- Love the colors you chose. Definitely gives your blocks that antique look I love. Very pretty.
