I have to get groceries today or tomorrow, so would like to know what to buy for this cake. I hate to go.. then have to take a second punishment of carrying them in and putting it all away, but this cake sure gives me incentive! LOL

Ok, Mary, here is mine. Mix i small can crushed pineapple with one small package vanilla instant pudding, mix well, and when it is partially set, gently fold in cool whip until it tastes as you want it. I have no idea how much I add. When it firms up, I cut a whole angle food in half, making two layers like a layer cake, then spread half the frosting in the middle and then put the rest on the top. Yummy.

I'll get this off to you before I head to my walking group then:

    Pineapple Angel Food Cake

    1 - One-step Angel Food cake mix
1 - 20 oz can crushed pineapple (not drained)

Preheat oven to 350*F. Spray 9 x 13" pan with cooking spray. Empty cake mix into a large bowl. Fold the entire can of pineapple into dry cake mix. Mix well. Do not add anything else. Pour into prepared pan and bake for 30 - 40 minutes. Add Cool Whip to top of each slice if desired. Makes 12 servings. At the birthday party the lady said she had taken the cool whip out to soften first and then had iced the whole cake & put raspberries & smarties on it - she also said her oven cooks this in about 22 minutes.... have fun ladies!

Judy, I always bump up to the nearest 1/4 inch or a little more. I am not that accurate with my shaky hands so would rather trim 1/16 inch to 1/8 inch each side than have to have a skimpy seam which has the potential to fray apart..... or ...shudder......rip it apart and stitch narrower seam.

I think that if you look at the photo, my E is white, my dark is B and the floral is A. Ok?
