Thanks for the recipes. I tried to go back to the first post to see Judy's fabrics, but this site was very hard to navigate between that post and this clue. Just wanted to be sure my fabrics were in the right places. I also have problems typing and posting messages here, but not on other sites. Go figure! Anyway, thanks for the prompt responses.

I had to cut my b and e squares at 5 3/8 in order for them to be big enough to match the A at 5". When I cut b and e at 5" I couldn't get a 4.5 block

I agree, it would be better if B and E were larger. Actually, if I make this again I will start with 5 1/2 for A, B and E. I cut them as suggested and sewed using my scant quarter inch presser foot, pressed it, and its now 4 1/2 with nothing to trim but the bunny ears. If I had not used the scant quarter seams it would not be 4 1/2 finished.

I'm sorry some of you had troubles with the block. I'm positive I cut my blocks at 5". Anyone else have a problem?

After reading the above, I sewed with a very scant ¼ " and have just the dog ears to trim off.

I'd go bigger, too. Mine are just barely big enough.
