Oh JUDY, your quilt is adorable! I just finished quilting my little patriotic topper to kill time while waiting. Now I'm off to see what I can use for my Prairie Points. Just love this one. They just keep getting better and better! A BIG THANK YOU AGAIN! Looking forward to #14. Any idea when it might be?

Emily and Timblebug ... Thanks. Can't believe I got the little one done while waiting! Proves what they say, "Time flies when you're having fun!"

Awww Jan, thanks. #14? I still haven't caught my breath from this one. I really don't know what to do about the next one. So many people are soooo busy all summer, I'm thinking I will start it after Labor Day.

Yes, I'd wait Judy. I did not get to this one yet. Eager beavers could make #13 in a different colorway. It's a lovely pattern.

So glad you all seem to like the prairie points. I've never used them before, one of those things that were on my bucket list, and thought it would set this block off quite nicely.

I wanted to also say that I did fix the blocks before quilting my topper. I wasn't going to but they started to bug me every time I looked at it, but then never took another pix of it all fixed the way it should have been. Sharp eyes caught it.

OK, so I'm an eager beaver and I admit it! lol But I'm really ready to move on to a different design. I started with one yard of the focus fabric. Made (13) 12" blocks, (4) 9" blocks, and (16) 3 1/2" prairie points. Here are my scraps... waste not, want not! I'm making a lap quilt, a table topper, and not sure yet what the extra 12" block will become. Judy's Mysteries are just so much fun... like potato chips... one calls out for more! Just too much fun!

JUDY... I do have a question... since I am making the table topper from my smaller blocks I have to change sashing and border measurements accordingly. When you say you increased your border width, do you mean the Prairie Point (1st border) or do you mean your outside border? My little PP are made from 3 1/2" squares. Thanks.

JustJan - I increased my border, the prairie pts were cut from 3-1/2" squares. Boy you sure got a lot of mileage out of a yard of fabric! There must be a prize somewhere for that! What colors are you doing the prairies in?
