I love Kaffe Fasset & the Rowan designers. I have learned to cut up big prints.

Ok been a while since I have had time to quilt but I am going to take the time to do this one! I will get enough fabric for a lap quilt. Going shopping!

I have always enjoyed the mystery quilts!

Kaffe Fasset fabrics are very saturated/dense, with very little background space and do lend themselves to being cut up. I love them too. But Judy said to stay away from large prints that are not dense and have a considerable amount of background fabric. Since its her mystery I'm following her directions and saving my larger prints for something else.

    FQs would work

I love big prints and I love Kaffe Fasset, but rarely will I cut into a big print of an expensive fabric to cut a small piece. My opinion only.

Marytod - you won't be sorry, and so glad to have you back. Jumping right in with buying fabric -- you must have faith in my mysteries!
