Please let me know what you think. I'm not sure I have enough of c color, but will try with a few scraps. I expect to start cutting and sewing tomorrow between house cleaning and playing with the puds, {dogs}, and watching chiefs football.

I just love love the fabric everyone has selected. I also enjoyed the stew and bread and desserts. Since it's still warm in the 80's, I left watermelon in the club car.
Your colors look great but you might want to check with Judy about the size of the print in your A fabric. From what I understand she said its to be a closer, smaller print.

Hi everybody. Haven't been able to do any cutting yet. Life got in the way, and I still have a lot to do today, but I'll try to get started later today and post again. Love what I'm seeing so far.
Somebody commented that so far not many of us are posting. I thought the same thing. At last count we had about 45 on the train so I expected more conversation, too. Guess I'm not the only one off to a slow start.

Just lurking now but have kept up with the ladies on this MQ and all of the choices of fabric are so beautiful. I am in Tulsa, Ok. staying with grandkids while parents are away. Hoping to get started as soon as I get back home in Arizona. This will be my first train ride but I really enjoy seeing everyone's progress.
I have found 2 wonderful quilt shops so close to my son's house!!! I may need to go back to the shops and do some more "buying" before I leave. Been here almost 3 wks but am anxious to get back to my sewing machine and finishing up a quilt I have made for granddaughter. Keep up the wonderful work ladies and hope to join in soon. Isn't Judy wonderful to do this??!!

I like to send Judy a HOSTESS GIFT to show my appreciation. Since she lives in Arizona, I think I will send her some
SNOW. If you would like to play along, pm me for her address. Any white, white on white, whitish, sparkly... you know what I mean. Then Judy can get the mail and say "It's snowing in Arizona!" Cheers, Dotty

Dotty cute idea. I usually send her something too. This would be a fun theme for her. Love the fabrics everyones coming up with. The Halloween and Christmas blocks are very cute.

Here are my squares and rectangles...can't wait to see how they play together.

Did anyone else see that beautiful moon outside the car windows last night?

I packed my sew handy in my carry-on. Can't go a day without sewing. Anybody needing mending/sewing/quilting is welcome to borrow it:
