Angelia very beautiful, striking to say the least. Love it.

Jaba I had a runner once where I thought one of the colors was too "in your face" and I did a very tight stipple in a darker color in just those areas -- amazing how it changed the color. Maybe try a brown thread? And if this were my runner, if I had the fabric, I would bind it in the same as the border, so as to not pull my eye away from the beautiful center.

Lol when I first saw this I thought it was a wrapped up Christmas present wrapped in ribbon. Just lovely :-)

Thats what I'm planning to do with mine :-). I've got less than another hour's work to get my 6th block finished, then I'll post a pic. I would have have had it done by now, but had to run out for the evening.

There's a lovely secondary lattice pattern starting to show :-)

I thought about not using sashing, but I needed size. I do really like the secondary patterns that this pattern makes.

paintmejudy, I think that would work....kind of calm that blue just a tad. Don't know if I'll have time to get it quilted before we leave next week but can do it when I get re-organized. Thanks all for the suggestions. Will post when I get it done. Looking forward to the next mystery too!!

Good luck with toning the blue down, will be watching to see what you do.

Oh we love putting pressure on! LOL I want to put pressure on SIODACH so I can see what she made with those gorgeous fabrics! This week I am putting pressure on myself to finish the two little quilts toppers from this mystery and finish my Ghost quilt by this weekend too.
