Picture of it all sewn together, I like it a lot better! I like the gray and pink geometric print but not with the softness of the Pastel Butterflies! Onward to sew three more together and see where I end up! What a fun train ride this has turned into!

I like your last pic too Mary....you and I are the softer fabric people

I think it makes your butterfly's shine and stand out!

Thanks, I really think it looks so much better, I am sure I will find something to do with the other fabric!

so here I am almost finished, just need to attach to fabric to put it on point! But I am looking at all the fabric I have left over and it finally dawns on me what I did wrong! For some reason I was thinking I needed 4 times the fabric because I was going to make 4 blocks! So I got 4 times everything!!!!! Then I lost the butterfly fabric and had to buy more! guess what I found today after I was finished!

I think I have enough pieces and parts to make several more of these lap quilts, not to mention the amount of extra fabric! Sheesh I need to go back to school and relearn math!

I will post a picture of finished top soon!
