I was out of town Sat-Wed and returned to Hurricane Matthew threatening our river home and ocean condo. Got them secured. Then had parents, kids, toddler granddaughter and all pets come stay during the storm since we have whole house generator. BUT...

This afternoon was able to get to sewing room and do the top to my runner. Happy with the result. Changed out C for fabric I liked better. This is it on the batting pre-quilting.

Love those colors chasezzz.....now it's reminding me of the weather channel storm surge pics. Those swirls you know? Been watching like crazy and it was driving me crazy....just a few clothes left to pack and I want to go now! Stepson had to leave the Naval base in Jacksonville and went to Lakeland to stay with his brother( my son), they checked on our house today and said everything was A-Okay, all high and dry. That's a good thing. I'm getting a little antsy now and ready but have 2 meetings on Monday that need to be attended to first.
