    Floralfab, yours turned out great. It doesn't show the struggle at all. :-) JeanieG, I may use that border idea. Or maybe I'll cut down the others. I'll wait and see what the next stars bring. Thanks for the idea.

    The feeling while making this block compaired to some of the others is hard to explain. It had more of a feeling of actually creating a quilt. I really really really enjoyed it.

    This block was a wonderful learning experience for me. I had to watch those YouTube videos on how to sew the Y seams. I also ended up taking out a few seams because the pieces were not lining up correctly for me. In the end I think it turned out ok.

    Here's mine, still needs the edges trimmed.

    As much as I love the look of this block I would hate to have to do a whole quilt, it just seemed so fiddley to me.
