Good one "goose slippings" kind of like "road apples" LOL. Judy your so welcome, unbelievable how many white on white fabrics there are out there. Enjoy your summer snow I think that's what Dotty suggested to send you. Good name for it. Some very pretty starts to this block already.

I think I'm home! The sewing room looks familiar. As always, a day late...I've attached my choices for one block. They aren't cut yet. There are two (!!) charms packs and they are ugly!! Whoo-ee! But here we go...

You're welcome, Judy, I'm happy you like them!

Been out of town today but did manage to pull some fabrics and will try to catch up tomorrow. Running late again, lol. Seems to be a habit. This mystery is intriguing and I can't wait to see what it is.

Everyone's choices look great!

going to have to describe mine, because my camera is having a personality crisis

so the neutral is an off white and white T on T, swirly.......the light is spring green with small white poke-a-dots...
the dark is very dark green with tiny silver scissors and words in almost as dark green...selvage says 1993 guess it is time for it to star or visit a sports bar and order a drink!!!! they are all sewn and even pressed...only need the triangles trimmed off the backs....

I don't think they're ugly at all. Wondering what you are choosing for background.

Just Jan, I think the background will have to be a light grey. White would be too stark, I think. Not much ight grey here, so means a shopping trip which can't happen until Thursday.

This is supposed to be high contrast. If you use gray it will blend in with your batiks. Bright white sounds better to me. Actually, that's why I asked what you will be using. Wondered if you chose white if it would contrast enough with all your grays. Since you have stark white (which would be my choice) and since its just one test block, maybe you should take a picture of them together and see what Judy thinks. JMHO! lol
