I have mine all finished. Time for another clue! I think the butterfly looks pretty. Is this a good guess?

Karen, I love your WoW. I had a big piece of that, but I think I have just about finished it. Beautiful floral fabric, too.

What is everyone's favorite HST method? Unwrapped the Easy Angle Ruler I've had for years and my machine eats the triangles even with a leader. I'm liking the Magic 4 method much better!

Magic 8 is my favorite by far. If I don't need near 8 my next go to is the simple 2 method. I seldom do the 4 method b/c it leaves bias edges on the outside. I will occasionally but I spray sizing it until it is almost as firm as paper.

My preferred is the 8 at a time method. I usually increase the starting square by 1/8th an inch -- 1/4" if the HSTs are over 4". I rarely have to trim anything other than the dog ears with that method. And the formula for the starting square is easy to remember -- twice the finished size plus 1.5". My machine doesn't like the triangle points either. I should say my $2500.00 Janome doesn't. The $150.00 Brother does fine with them. But I still prefer not having to mess with all those little pieces.

Delfina -- way to go. You are fast!
