I assembled my blocks today and will add the sashing and border first thing tomorrow... watching the Grammy's and a bunch of snow coming down on the coast of Maine tonight.

No name, I just do them, don't name them! I think a name for a quilt is personal. When I quilt my mysteries, I simply call them, for example, 16th Mystery Train Ride, 2017 Unless I am making them for someone, and then their name goes on it instead.

Finished putting the quilt top together tonight. I really like this pattern and will likely make it again (and maybe again).
Not having much luck posting a picture tonight but will try again. Hope it works this time.

Everyone's quilts are looking gorgeous! I'm beginning to get caught up on this train ride. Here's the first of my blocks for this final clue. I love it! Not the greatest picture

Mom-6, love your fabric choices. Not my strong point. LOL

    Alvastitcher, looking amazing!!

Mom-6, yours is gonna be grand too.

Here's mine with the extra half-blocks sewn.

I took the original top row of blocks and removed the topmost section, to create the top half-blocks. The section I removed I re-used to make the half-blocks for the bottom edge. Then I extended the sides, before deciding how to finish the corners off.

I do prefer the symmetry of the complete Irish chain pattern.

As it is, it will measure 52" square when stitched together. Not sure what to do about any borders as yet. I've enough of the orange to do a very narrow border, and plenty of both the other fabrics.

I've really enjoyed this pattern, and love the way the grey-shaded tops look, so may well repeat the train-ride in that colourway.

That is so very pretty, Siodach! The colors seem very tropical to me, at least on my monitor. Sort of a Hawaiian sunset look.
