Hello, ladies!
I have been able to return to my Dear Jane and now it is up to the three blocks of the week 19!
Are D-7, D-8 and D-9. I loved making them!
I present a few photos and I hope they are to your liking!
A big hug!

Beautiful, as always, Gladys!
Dotty - I'm falling behind again. I thought I'd get last week's blocks done without any problem. I haven't even finished one of them. I'm about halfway through G-8. Might have some time this weekend to get moving along here. PS hearing about you being there when your grandchildren get out of school has me reminiscing about when my boys were in elementary school. An especially happy time for us.

I'm still here and enjoying the photos. I've been stuck on a quilt for my grandson that seems to be taking forever and I'm beginning to really dislike, but I'll get over that when I finish it!

Dotty - feeling guilty about not visiting or tending to this thread, etc etc....
I had such major sewing machine issues for over a month. Finally got it under control I think.... I was actually able to do regular sewing without a problem, but meanwhile my 4 year old grandson had been waiting months for his quilt to be quilted and each time I tried I had major loops on the back - was ready to drive to Bernina and throw their 440 lemon through their front window!!! [You cant actually talk to them on the phone unless you have a retail account! kinda like AT&T... I guess they know they have disgruntled customers] Well - it appears my machine is simply very sensitive when it comes to thread differences. Said to my DH guess it's like owning a Ferrari and need to have it continually tuned up - the more expensive the machine, the more sensitive it tends to be
So - after fiddling with the bobbin tension and upper thread tension [and switching to a different thread] I got it to work. I was determined NOT to do any other sewing until Jack's quilt was finished and delivered!!!
I finished quilting the twin reversible quilt at 10pm the night before last and the binding was on by 7pm last night - just in time to drive it over and let him sleep under it![Smile](https://cdn.quiltingboard.com/images/smilies/smile.png)
now for some paperwork and DJ here I come!!!! [I realize should have taken picture with good camera to post it.... just have phone pic]
I've also put a little pressure on myself..... ahem. Our next guild quilt show is Sept 2013 - think I can get this baby done???? I suppose that would mean no hand quilting![Frown](https://cdn.quiltingboard.com/images/smilies/frown.png)
All of your blocks are wonderful - and Gladys - you amaze me!! great runner - what pattern is that?

Gus have you tried the Little Genie Magic Bobbon washers in your machine to get rid of the loops on the back of your FMQ. I love them. They are available on Leah Day website. I had trouble with loops no matter what I did and they solved the problem for me. Also a needle plate with a single hole helps.
I haven't touched my Dear Jane in ages. I am working with a group at the LQS and we have all put it aside until after Christmas. I am finishing up the 50 fabulous paper pieced stars group now. I really need to get back to my DJ. I only have about 12 blocks finished. At this rate it will take 50 years.
Beautiful work everyone. I do enjoy lurking here.
