Hello! How are you? I hope you are very well!
    Today is a very cold day in my city (- 8 ° C are 17.6 ° F)!
Glad to hear that DottyD went very well for their medical examinations and is happy!
CindyA and Katybob all your blocks are beautiful! Congratulations!
I am trying to resume my work of patchwork so abandoned! Yesterday I finished the block # 8 of Lunthistle, which I presented in a thread separate in QB.
Today I managed to meet the colors that I will use for 13 blocks of row G My Dear Jean, so I hope to next week introduce my 4 week blocks.
Wish you all a beautiful weekend!
    A giant hug each!

Gladys - good to hear from you! yep that is cold....brrrrr. although I will say that I would have preferred that to the 100F since there's only so much you can take off!!!

Love the blocks katybob - I have LS9 done cant remember if I posted it yet? L10 is on hold for me. My mom used to wear a dress made of fabric that Jane's L10 reminds me of. I know she had some leftover fabric somewhere - and I may have kept her dress and put it in storage as I had been thinking of making a quilt of some of her things.

Thanks Gladys - From a very warm England, UK - where we are STILL awaiting the royal birth !!!!!!!!
I am now attaching all the sashing to my blocks - and if I could ever offer a tip - I now wish I had done some of this as I had gone along - it is an awful lot to add to all 169 blocks !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

You were right, Dotty. A Boy!!! Congratulations. I'm sitting now with the t.v. on hoping to see them leave the hospital.

Also, when you are able, please post pics of adding the sashing.

I haven't had time to work on DJ, it's been busy the last several days. Sadly, a childhood neighbor and friend died at 49 yrs young of pulmonary embolism. Please everyone, take care of yourselves and advocate for yourselves and loved ones. She had told the doctor she had blood clots but was sent home. She died in the ambulance on the way to the hospital the next day. Every day with family and friends is precious.

I agree Trisha!!! it is beautiful! and worth every penny [for someone who has that] and even at my lowest point I wouldnt get rid of something like that - I suppose you could get a few months food and housing [not so much] with it

Sorry -- I couldn't get far enough away from it in my little courtyard to get a better picture of it.
