Jeanine - if you are asking me about the miniature quilt - I certainly didnt do it but would love to try one like it as far as I know - no pattern. Although I did pick up a pattern for a super small compass rose or lone star once.

what is "eep?" I think that was written a few posts ago ???

Cre8t - EPP is english paper piecing. This is the type most commonly used for grandmothers flower garden. The fabric is basted over precision cut papers and then whip stitched together. There are several vairations, but this is the essence.

I love English Paper Piecing. That is what I though paper piecing was until last year. In fact, I am doing some epp for these blocks as I can't do foundation piecing by hand.

Jeanine, can you explain how you would use EPP with DJ blocks? I've done them PP but can't get a mental picture of how you would use EPP. thanks!!!

Oh my goodness!! This is absolutely stunning!!!! It looks like it might have been appliqued, with ribbon roses, rick rack in the border and obviously gorgeous quilting in 2 shades of colours. I really want to add
this to my to do list.

Does anyone know if there is a pattern to it?????

** just saw that there may not be a pattern, rats. May have to try my hand later at drafting one**

On a Dear Jane note, I can finish my week 3 blocks tomorrow since I am finally done my stretch of 6 shifts for work and can concentrate on them!! Pictures to follow soon!!

Today was hectic but I was determined to complete a block for my Lemon Jane. I finally have 4 blocks completed and God willing, I will be caught up by next week. I am really having fun working on the blocks. I haven't taken any pictures yet. I will wait until I have more completed. I love all of the blocks that have been posted.

Hi Linda - I completed mine in the same way - yours looks great - with all the seams, mine is a bit lumpy - maybe I need to trim a bit.... thanks for showing your pics.

    Default Week 3 Blocks completed!

I loved the revision of A1 - so happy it was posted before I started mine - and for the hand piecing, I sure am glad I recalled reading that silk thread is the best for making your stitches disappear, mine almost did - a whole lot better than any I'd done before with regular cotton thread. Can anyone point me to the best source for Silk Thread? Here are my latest blocks.
